ABOUT ME

After finishing film school in 2009, I was torn between my love for cameras and my fascination with computers. Unsure whether to pursue a career as a cinematographer or an editor, I did both for many years. I shot and cut 3 significant Zoomsport documentaries:  Take The Ball Pass The Ball, El Presidente and Ronaldo: The Phenomenon. But eventually, I found my true passion in the process of color correction.

Today, I’m a self-proclaimed Maestro of color grading, based in the dark corners of Terrassa, Barcelona. With over a decade of experience in the business (but who’s counting?), I’ve traded in my days as an errant cinematographer for a life locked away in a dim room, playing with colours like a mad scientist in a lab. It’s not exactly glamorous, but I love it. And who needs sunlight and fresh air anyway?

I’m a man of simple pleasures – black coffee, lots of screens, and the feel of my color panel wheels. My family and friends can’t quite wrap their heads around my profession: «I’m a colourist,» I say with a smirk, fully aware that nobody really knows what I do.
